MP backs biodiesel tax break campaign

Liberal Democrat MP Andrew George is backing a campaign to keep tax breaks for companies who produce biodiesel.
Producers transforming cooking oil into biodiesel currently benefit from a 20p differential but that is due to end next April.
The St Ives MP, who leads the Lib Dem Environment Team, has actually been meeting the UK sustainable .
Mr George stated "a number of small organizations in Cornwall presently make cash from utilized cooking oil".
He added: "In order to be able to get this kind of industry going it does require just a little bit of lift which comes in the kind of tax foregone."
Biodiesel is a blend of traditional diesel, rapeseed and veggie oils.
