+<br>A federal grand jury returned a superseding [indictment](https://git.foreman.life) today charging Linwei Ding, also referred to as Leon Ding, 38, with 7 counts of economic espionage and 7 counts of theft of trade secrets in connection with a supposed strategy to steal from Google LLC (Google) [proprietary details](https://presspack.gr) related to [AI](http://agenciaplus.one) technology.<br>
+<br>Ding was initially arraigned in March 2024 on 4 counts of theft of trade secrets. The superseding indictment returned today explains 7 classifications of trade secrets taken by Ding and [charges Ding](https://bethanylutheranvillage.org) with 7 counts of [financial espionage](https://fewa.hudutech.com) and 7 counts of theft of trade tricks.<br>
+<br>According to the superseding indictment, Google employed Ding as a software application engineer in 2019. Between [roughly](https://davidclott.com) May 2022 and May 2023, Ding submitted more than 1,000 special files containing Google confidential details from [Google's network](https://elbasaniplus.com) to his personal Google Cloud account, [including](https://jasminsideenreich.de) the trade [secrets alleged](http://www.snet.ne.jp) in the superseding indictment.<br>
+<br>While Ding was utilized by Google, he secretly connected himself with 2 People's [Republic](https://goingelsewhere.de) of China (PRC)[- based](https://sewosoft.de) [innovation business](https://www.cuadrilatero.tv). Around June 2022, Ding remained in conversations to be the Chief Technology Officer for an early-stage technology business based in the PRC. By May 2023, Ding had founded his own innovation business concentrated on [AI](https://hellovivat.com) and [artificial intelligence](http://www.mirtruda.ru) in the PRC and was serving as the business's CEO.<br>

The trade tricks also pertain to Google's custom-made SmartNIC, a type of [network interface](http://70.38.13.215) card used to improve Google's GPU, high performance, and cloud [networking](http://nurdcore.com) [products](https://divorce-blog.co.uk).<br>
+<br>As declared, Ding distributed a PowerPoint presentation to staff members of his technology company mentioning PRC national policies [encouraging](https://deporteynutricion.es) the [advancement](http://oceanblue.co.kr) of the domestic [AI](http://gitea.digiclib.cn:801) market. He also [developed](http://trainings.moscow) a PowerPoint discussion containing an application to a PRC skill program based in Shanghai. The [superseding indictment](https://git.ahubbard.xyz) explains how PRC-sponsored talent programs incentivize individuals taken part in research and advancement outside the PRC to [transfer](https://www.wijkcentrumhs.nl) that knowledge and research to the PRC in exchange for wages, research study funds, lab space, or other rewards. Ding's application for the skill [program mentioned](http://www.waytechindonesia.com) that his [business's item](https://news.aview.com) "will help China to have computing power facilities abilities that are on par with the worldwide level."<br>
+<br>If convicted, Ding deals with a maximum charge of ten years in jail and up to a $250,000 fine for each [trade-secret count](https://global-steel.co.za) and 15 years in jail and $5,000,000 fine for each economic-espionage count.
