BEIJING-- The high-performance, low-cost expert system design launched just recently by Chinese start-up DeepSeek has produced a wave of attention around the globe. DeepSeek-R1 appears to use performance that rivals options from the U.S., but the business states it was established at less than a tenth of the expense of those designs. Chinese innovation news portal 36Kr interviewed the creator, Liang Wenfeng, setiathome.berkeley.edu in July 2024.
