The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medicine offenses.
He will now be the topic of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its office, Peter Moore, said: "It is essential that we get the message across that unlicensed medications can be hazardous.
"These types of items being sold, generally online, have gone through no quality assurance and there can be no guarantee about their safety.
"You just do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More significantly, you do not understand the result drugs like this might have on your health."
